People complaining about how this is pornography: its not technically pornography. if it were pornography it'd be a recognizable humanoid figure and have some realistic aspect of it which it doesn't. it's abstract.
It also has a filter on it. Therefore it's correctly marked as nsfw, and not breaking rules.
Also implying dA actually gives a fuck about its own rules
I love how so many people are fighting over rules when this was voted by the site for a DD... also, I see no realistic erection. And certainly no fluids. *shrug* This drawing is stunning and beautiful.
• Sexual body fluids (actual or simulated). There should be no depiction of semen or vaginal lubricants.
• Erections. There should be no use of imagery depicting an erect penis, however there may be exceptions granted to illustrations created for legitimate medical or educational purposes.
Way to go, admins, for never following your own freaking rules that YOU invented. I'll tell you what. If you're not going to enforce your rules, why don't you just take them off? Hell, dedicate a whole section to artistic pornography. While you're at it, why don't you create a section for re-colours and stolen artwork, because I know you love that stuff too much to delete it too.
Problem with the children seeing all this porn? Not a problem. Let all kids under the age of thirteen join, because we all know that there are so many who already have joined, and just tell them to leave the mature block on.
This is a great plan! It will sure save us good, rule-following people some time, since we report stuff all the time and you guys ignore it.
You can't draw and that is really why you are obsessed with getting this piece shutdown. You draw like a 5 year old and have never had a DD... Awwww, poor baby. MOVE ON! It's not going to happen, no matter how many times you post the rules on other people's works of art. (And if you HAVE received a DD, than that is far more offensive than this piece receiving one).
I don't care about my own art. Its fun doodles. I don't give a shit about my own art or getting a DD. I don't even consider my drawings art. Please take your miserable excuse for trolling someplace else.
''You draw like a 5 year old and have never had a DD...'' ''and if you HAVE received a DD,''
If they may have had a DD but before actually looking you decided to insult them instead? I don't know if you know how learning works, but one does not simply pick up a pen, pencil, or a tablet, and can simply draw like a God. It takes time and practice. You do not need to be an artist to know when something is artistic nude or porn. Again, it takes time and practice to be a 'good artist'. Put your dick back in your pants and stop wanking over an abstract picture on the internet.
Go get laid or something, I don't know, just don't criticize other peoples' artwork because your precious porn may be taken down.
I am quite aware of how much work and practice it takes to learn to draw. I work extremely hard at what I do. I do absolutely nothing else. And of course you don't need to be an artist to know the difference between an artistic nude and porn. But this is neither. This is an artistic, ABSTRACT, interpretation of the ultimate connection between two human beings. It's not about "wanking" or "porn" this about the beauty of two souls becoming one. There is nothing more beautiful and more natural in this entire world. And if you are ashamed and disgusted by that idea than I pity you. This should not be SHUNNED this should celebrated.
As beautiful as the piece is, it's still violating the rules as it's cross the line into what DEVIANTART claims to be pornographic. It shows an erect penis and deception of ejaculation, which is clearly stated as being against the rules.
Personally, I can find even raw sex to be artistic, if you've ever watched 'X-Art' you'd know what I'm talking about. However, no matter how artistic a piece is, it should always abide by the rules clearly stated on a website. If they want to post this, they can do so on an erotic art site or sell it in a gallery.
Thing is that there's really nothing that abstract about it. It's true that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but it's still against the rules of the site. It really has nothing to do with artistic values or personal feelings about the piece, it's just people wanting to enforce the rules of the site.
If you read Deviantart's Policies, 80% of deviations break rules but if they removed them... Deviantart dies. I didn't see "genital parts" when I watched this Deviation, I noticed it because of comment. Nice done
so much hate on it tis tis ohh well XDDD I think its stupid that they put a limit on what u can draw art is art in my book... and the natural body is art which includes this and I think its a very beautiful drawing and I mean they have boobs everywhere on da ohh and this drawing is so crazy and such a rule breaker..... ATTENTION EVERYONE we got a badass up in here pshhhh... I absolutely love it
Does seem like it breaks the rule about not showing erections and body fluids and stuff, but then again this is pretty abstracted. It took me a minute to realize there were "genitals" in it. Either way, it's nicely done.
Okay, look. I have no problem with nudity, porn, anything of the sort. I'm not 'prude'. But, this breaks the site RULES and is not allowed on the website. People who are saying this are not being 'prude', they're helping the submitter on the piece not to get banned.
